Help Fund FREE Entertainment for CHILDREN

Hello,

My name is Fletcher Runyan, I have been in the live entertainment industry since the age of 8 years old. My journey in the entertainment industry began in San Diego California with a non profit known as Fern Street Circus. Trained by an 8th generation circus family from Italy, I learned the art of wire walking and toured the world performing until 2011 when I decided to start my own circus.

 

 In 2011 Circus United was born and we have catered to Charity Organizations as a fundraiser for the past 8 years. Unfortunately,  there is little to no return on investment for my services as an entertainment company and furthermore a lack of consistency with events annually. Which is why, I have created alternative show concepts like Monster Motor Madness under my business (2017) Family Entertainment Industry, which acts as an umbrella company for any shows we produce.

  With my current agreements, we are provided a budget, which covers the cost of hiring independent contractors to perform and the transportation of our show equipment. Family Entertainment makes its money from merchandise/concessions sold to the public. Our sponsors are the beneficiary receiving the return on investment. The money we make is barely enough to sustain ourselves annually and be able to continue investing in show equipment maintenance, lighting, sound, etc.  

 

Working capital has become a much needed source in order to kick start creative concepts like Monster Motor Madness. 

 

We are requesting your support in order to kick start Family Entertainment Industry so that we may become self sufficient and create a consistent schedule of events and employ 50-100 independent performers annually. Funds would be used to cover the initial cost of facility rentals, marketing, independent contractors, transportation, etc; cost that is other wise covered by our sponsors and therefore profit is their return on investment. 

Our resources and experience is vast regarding the tools needed in order to market and produce successful shows. The need for working capital is the only thing in the way of accomplishing what I'm most passionate about, quality live shows that is affordable for everyone.  

 

 We believe, that when mom & dad or grandma and grandpa take the kids to a circus or motor sports show or any show for that matter, it is a time for relief from their every day worries and nothing provides that relief better than witnessing thrills, chills, laughter and money still in the pocket when they leave. 

 

As a company, we would be focusing on demographics other wise overlooked by our competitors; which normally play to inner city large scale arenas.  We would be targeting folks considered "left behind"; the metropolitan areas and less populated areas at greater distances from major city's.  These sort of demographics can often be extremely supportive of live events that come to their home town, for one simple reason, there's nothing else to do. They usually extend that thanks by showing up in large numbers and are even more grateful when an average ticket price ranges between $10-$20 per adult; to see an action packed event, featuring monster trucks, FMX, BMX, Trapeze, motorcycle in the globe, jugglers, clowns and so on so forth. 

Our Policy: Kids are always FREE when accompanied by a Paid Adult.

If we achieve becoming fully funded with this campaign, we will update our supporters with more information such as, event date, location, show production, etc. Date & event location will be determined by or before June 2019 and event will be hosted no later than November 2019. All rewards will be delivered by or before December 2019. 

All sponsors will receive 20 complimentary tickets to the event if they wish to attend.

Risks and challenges

As many understand, there is always a risk when it comes to spending money, in order to make money. Especially when an investment like live entertainment can cost between $25,000.00 - $100,000.00 easily, in just one week of shows, between insurance, facility rentals, paid performers, transportation, and considerably the most important cost, marketing. I am confident that my experience gained over the years and my resources with quality acts to trust worthy and reliable marketing experts gives Family Entertainment a strong head start at successfully creating a self- sufficient company with your generous contribution.
